Presented by Forward Visions Incorporated. The Black Music Month Celebration seeks to creatively partner with businesses and organizations looking to associate themselves with a high-quality event that brings hundreds of music lovers together for a one-of-a-kind experience. Being a sponsor of the Black Music Month Celebration helps to support local music education for youth and adults alike.
It is an effective way to reach your patrons, by introducing new products through sampling, or simply by informing the audience about your company through advertising and promotion. Becoming a sponsor of Black Music Month Celebration can have a tremendously positive impact on any company whose product or ideas are in line with the lifestyle of our devoted Black Music Month Celebration fans.
It’s that time of year again. Forward Visions is offering a scholarship in the amount of $1000 each to (5) aspiring middle school and high school musicians.
Forward Visions, a Muncie community-based organization that is designed to support citizens of Muncie, is proud to present (5) five Muncie-Delaware County Schools students in middle and high school a scholarship of $1000 to support their efforts in mastering the art of music! This scholarship is designed to assist students in the purchase of a new instrument or maintenance on their current instrument.
Students are asked to submit a 60 second video through Tik-Tok or YouTube describing the following:
● Why are you interested in music?
● What have you done to pursue your musical dream?
● Which instrument(s) do you currently play?
Eligible criteria for scholarship consideration:
● Students must be enrolled in a Muncie Community School or Delaware County Schools
● Students must apply the scholarship to the rental or purchase of a musical instrument
● Students must have a grade level of C+ academically
All scholarship applications and videos must be submitted by June 11th by email to forwardvisionsmuncie@gmail.com.
